In the month of May the first two rounds of European Superstreet Bike Championship and Junior Drag Bike Cup were held: the first at Kunmadaras (Hungary) and the latest at Santa Pod (England). At Kunmadaras, Hungary, Sunday started with 2 qualification rounds for the FIM Europe Super Street Bike Championship and Junior Drag Bike Cup in very warm weather. On Monday the organizer managed to put 4 qualification rounds in the time schedule, which was appreciated by the riders. Last year’s number 2 in the Superstreet Bike Cup, Danish Mogens Lund was fastest in the Superstreet Bike qualification, which gave him the number 1 spot in the elimination ladder. In the Junior Drag Bike Cup Meggie Talbort from UK was the fastest in qualifying.

The second semifinal was between Richard Stubbins, from Great Britain and Salvanos Andreas, from Greece. The meeting was held in good atmosphere and all participants got a better understanding on how FIM Europe Drag Racing Commission and FIM CCR manage their corp business and day to day work.
